This portion of a song was published and sung in San Francisco. Originally, this was understood to be Satire. However, years later, many have said that this is the Clarion call of forces attempting to indoctrinate our children.

Schools Must Teach Science Not Sex

Many Parents believe that how parents elect to raise their children (traditionally or LGBTQIA) is up to them.

It is wrong for the state government to force one style of sexual education upon parents.

In June, SB818 passed. The title is grossly misleading; the legislation is titled “Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act.” This title is propaganda, and it was explicitly designed to avoid controversy. The bill’s authors knew that many local media would assume it was positive and not do a deep dive if the title appeared optimistic.

This is an old legislative trick that politicians have been using for years. For example, see Congress turns bill titles into acts of exaggeration.

The Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act (SB818) is an innocuous title that neatly camouflages its real purpose.

What is our Focus?

Illinois House Bill 3653 and Senate Bill 818 (HB3653 and SB818), recently signed into law, demonstrate a vast disconnect between the values of the communities on the North Shore and the current crop of elected representatives. Both political parties are ego-driven organizations detached from the mothers, fathers, small business owners, social advocates, and children who make up the North Shore community.

Don't Let The Nice Title Fool You

The real purpose of this legislation is to force our local community to align its public school curriculum to the National Sex Education Standards (NSES).

At first blush, this may seem like an exaggeration, but it is not. This legislation, signed into law in June of 2022, appoints an 11-person board that is charged with aligning the Illinois public school curriculum to Washington, D.C.’s National Sex Education Standards. By design, this legislation strips North Shore Parents of any power to determine the sex-education curriculum for our children.

The NSES are problematic and wholly lopsided. These standards were developed in New York City and Washington, D.C., by specific intellectual communities wholly detached from the North Shore intellects. . The NSES ideas are a product of a laboratory environment absent real-world consideration and parents’ opinions. Indeed, most academics and participants in developing these standards: (1) have no children; (2) would not teach these values to their children so early; and did not want input from diverse economic communities.

How Early is too Early?

According to the NSES, children in K,1, and 2 grades must be able to “define gender, gender identity, and gender-role stereotypes and discuss the range of ways people express their gender and how gender-role stereotypes may limit behavior.”

Many parents feel that introducing these concepts into the first few years of education is inappropriate. When starting school, children are highly vulnerable and learn their place in the world. To introduce ideas that contradict their local community’s understanding and the teaching of their parents is wrong. Parents, particularly at this early stage in development, must be the primary guide.

To be clear, not all parents will object to the NSES; however, we agree that these concepts must be left for Parents to decide and implement locally, not outsourced to the national government.

Many people have asked, “why would many legislators agree to something so obviously against the wishes of local parents?”

The answer is quite easy– money. State school boards get federal grants if they adhere to specific national government standards. And, given the enormous economic pressure that Springfield is under, they are willing to sacrifice parental control for a few federal tax dollars. [The total debt of our State is $168 BILLION].

*The Gender Unicorn was an example of “age-appropriate” material acceptable under the National Sex Education Standards. This is approved for Kindergartners and 1st Graders. Feel free to click the picture to more closely examine what is coming to our North Shore elementary schools.

Many supported this legislation and, similar to local media, were fooled by its intentionally vague and misleading language. Too late, we realized that much of this language was vague on purpose. As a recent candidate commented, “the language was designed to get you to believe that if the standards are national, they must be good.” This vague and misleading language was a pretext to teach sex, gender identity, and sexual preference concepts that go against parental values.

We know this to be true because similar legislation has been trotted out in New York, California, and Michigan. And in all of these states, after their sexual educational program aligned with national sex education standards, the result was always the same: over-sexualization of children and hyper-sexualization of teenagers.

The result is the same because those who enforce these standards target kids. Cartoon and fantasy imagery (see the Gender Unicorn and GenderBread Person below) is often used to entice young minds, and in-your-face debauchery in NSES-approved books is designed to hype the most primal instincts of our adolescent boys and girls.

Other creative examples have also been used for older children. See the Genderbread Person version 1 and version 2 below and see what is coming to our middle schools.

Our young children and middle schoolers are not the only ones being targeted. Our 7th, 8th, and high school students are being taught adult concepts that should be left to the home.

Many fathers and mothers stand firmly against requiring our public schools to align their sexual education curriculum with the National Sex Education Standards.

YES, these books and the accompanying curriculum may currently be found in New York, California, and Michigan.

S.B. 818 requires public schools to align its sexual education curriculum with the National Sex Education Standards (NSES). Look at the pictures. These are real examples from the National Curriculum.

In the media, we are seeing more and more support for this these types of new laws going against the grain of North Shore social norms, and we parents are speaking out against this filth that is polluting the hearts and minds of our children.

These are real images from books, located in NSES affiliated schools! Most books are available electronically.

"It's Perfectly Normal" is NSES Approved

More than anything, this is why we support Paul Kelly. Our current State Senator voted FOR this law which promotes “gender identity” to kindergartners, as well as “masturbation” and “sexual orientation” to children in third through twelfth grade.

Did you know that already 2 publicly funded Illinois libraries (Waukegan Library and Highwood Library) were advertising in May that kids would be dressing up in Drag?

We want parents to be aware that this is not an exaggeration. These National Sex Education Standards are bleeding into our community right now. It is important to remember that once NSES standards come into education, they will spill over into other public areas.

For example, pro-NSES forces are trying to bring Drag Queen Story Hour from Chicago into our local North Shore libraries. Drag Queen Story Hour is where DRAG QUEENS, dressed in Drag, gather children around them in a circle and read children’s stories to children.
